Rose’s Zucchini Cake Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 C milk
  • 3 T cake flour
  • 1 C granulated sugar
  • 1 C (2 sticks) butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add milk gradually to flour in saucepan, stirring to avoid lumps.
  • Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
  • Cool thoroughly.
  • Cream sugar, butter and vanilla in bowl until fluffy.
  • Blend mixture into cooled milk mixture.
