Cheesy Hamburger and Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground venison or 1 lb beef
  • 3 cups potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef or venison and drain.
  • In medium bowl combine soup, onion, milk, and salt and pepper.
  • In a 2 quart baking dish (11x7) alternately layer the potatoes, soup mixture, meat and cheese.
  • Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
  • Bake covered, at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until potatoes are tender.
