Cracked Pepper Cheddar Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • cups Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and pepper
  • In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and oil
  • Stir wet into dry until just moistened
  • Fold in cheese
  • Coat muffin cups with cooking spray and fill ⅔ full
  • Bake at 375° F for 25-30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean
  • Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack
  • Serve warm
